Cool Coat

The new cooling design in Menu’s Cool Coat is effective and makes it easy to keep wine cold.
When you have carefully selected the right wine for the starter, dessert, or relaxing on the terrace – or if you simply wish to enjoy a cool glass on the sofa – wine must have the right temperature to ensure the full array of taste nuances. And it should remain chilled until the bottle is empty. For those who are not fond of old-fashioned wine coolers, Cool Coat is a clever and particularly effective alternative.
Menu and designer Jakob Wagner have recast the traditional way of cooling wine with Cool Coat, which is new and unique in both its design and function. It consists of two layers of durable textiles and a loose cooling wrap. After a stay in the freezer, the cooling wrap can be reinserted in the jacket and wrapped around the bottle, keeping it chilled for up to a full hour.
Limited edition in black and red
Cool Coat is available in multiple colours, including a classic black/black, a fresh and summer-like white/ lime, and a lively striped design. Available right now is a black Cool Coat with red lining that changes character depending on how you choose to style the coat. “The coat can be adapted to the bottle’s size, and you can adjust the collar as you like and give the coat its own personal look,” says Designer Jakob Wagner. With an upturned collar, the coat is discrete and elegant. If you fold the collar down, the fiery red lining appears, changing the atmosphere markedly. Regardless of styling, it keeps the wine wonderfully chilled.
